Hi,
When I create a custom block in the block library there should be an option to exclude block from caching (e.g. when using dynamic tokens). As a role model, a views block can also be excluded from caching.

It's likely this issue predates Contrib.social: some issue and comment data are missing.
The Ideas project is being deprecated. This issue is moved to the Drupal project. Check that the selected component is correct. Also, add the relevant tags, especially any 'needs manager review' tags.
Since there has been no discussion here, checking in to see if this is still valid.
