This module is not compatible with Layout Builder. When trying to manage a layout that has a field that uses this formatter, the module throws an error because it is trying to display a link to a media item that doesn't yet exist.
Symfony\Component\Routing\Exception\InvalidParameterException: Parameter "media" for route "media_entity_download.download" must match "[^/]++" ("" given) to generate a corresponding URL. in Drupal\Core\Routing\UrlGenerator->doGenerate() (line 204 of /Users/travis/Sites/pabc-new/docroot/core/lib/Drupal/Core/Routing/UrlGenerator.php).
