Affix was removed in Bootstrap 4. But, Bootstrap Barrio still offers "affix" settings (though a few are commented out), and there's an affix.js as well. hatuhay has said in another issue → that the "Affix feature is something should go out from the administration of the theme as it is quit simple and more effective to handle from css." and that matches what Bootstrap says too: "We recommend using position: sticky instead."

@jacob.embree bootstrap definitely dropped affix, it says so in their docs.
What I meant was that #3 🐛 Should we remove affix from Bootstrap Barrio? Fixed did not remove affix from Bootstrap Barrio as suggested in the issue description, so changing the status to "fixed" may not be warranted.
