Layout Builder seems to break EVA

I have found that if the (experimental) layout builder module is enabled, eva views are not rendered on the target bundle. This happens whether layouts are enabled for the bundle or not.

Can anyone throw any light on this?

    No, #13 does not work. Confirming the symptoms:

    • EVA views in layout builder are previewed as placeholder-only (possibly due to receiving no route context via ajax).
    • EVA views placed in layout builder are not rendered at all on entity view.
    • EVA views placed via "manage display" (ie without layout builder enabled for the display) are not rendered on entity view if layout builder is even installed.

    Seems you can't use EVA and Layout Builder in the same project.
