No, #13 does not work. Confirming the symptoms:

EVA views in layout builder are previewed as placeholder-only (possibly due to receiving no route context via ajax).

EVA views placed in layout builder are not rendered at all on entity view.

EVA views placed via "manage display" (ie without layout builder enabled for the display) are not rendered on entity view if layout builder is even installed.

Seems you can't use EVA and Layout Builder in the same project.

From what I can tell this bug is now fixed in the latest version of this module. Code similar to what's happening in #13 is now in place, which apparently helped fix ✨ Hide output if empty option Fixed . I don't have as many usages of EVAs in LB layouts anymore, but those I do have seem to be working with the latest version of this module (unpatched).

Can others still reproduce this issue with the latest version of this module?
