Lesser permissions for users to restrict notes visible

Would it be within the scope of the module to have a two tier role system, so some users could only view notes assigned to them / written by them.

I've attempted an implementation of this, but already this has a backward compatibility issue as it would prevent existing users from seeing all notes until the extra permission was added.

    Hi andy_w,

    I have recently become a co-maintainer of the moderation note project.

    Instead of adding 'access any moderation notes', which introduces a backwards compatibility problem, could we add 'access own moderation notes'?

    The most feasible permission add would be "Access Moderation Notes if able to edit content" similar to current permissions.

    "Access own moderation notes" may not be accurate as others are the note authors on your node/content.
