Getting a request to use the following.

../libraries/webrtc/adapter-latest.js?v=1.0.0

Console error.

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)
main:1 Refused to execute script from '../libraries/webrtc/adapter-latest.js?v=1.0.0' because its MIME type ('text/html') is not executable, and strict MIME type checking is enabled.

The module reference to the library also has to be changed:
modules/barcode_scanning/commerce_pos_barcode_scanning.module:26: $output .= '
