For more clarity for the mobile menu clicking hamburger, opens the menu, clicking the menu item opens the sub menu items, but because there are 9 items the user needs to scroll to see bottom sub menu items, or get to the other main menu items, the scrolling towards the bottom causes the menu to close.

What is expected by the user is clicking hamburger opens mobile menu and clicking either a menu item or the page below the menu, or the hamburger menu closes the menu, not scrolling.
