Multivalue fields will not allow more than ~490 values. The edit form breaks for me, after adding close to 500 values into a multivalue field the form field disappears. I tested with a file upload field as well but that may not be related.
To reproduce on stock install w/Devel added and enabled:
The field should break. On a client site I'm getting a file size limitation error on a file field that already had content saved in it (wasn't trying to edit the file) when adding more values to the multivalue field.

It's likely this issue predates Contrib.social: some issue and comment data are missing.
