Problem

User should be able to configure which menus (or other elements) show up on the sitemap per language.

Can this be done using the current "simple" config_object? Or do we need to switch to defining a config_entity?

OR is the issue with trying to use Configuration Translation (explicitly designed for string values), when we should be trying to implement this in a different way?

We could always change the different settings to strings and massage the data added to and saved from the UI form... but that probably isn't correct either.

Original report:

Hi,

I have separate menus for the different languages, e.g.:

  • Main menu EN
  • Main menu FR

How can I show only the Main menu EN for English and same for French?

I'm using the dev version.

Thanks!
