Random sort not working for anonymous users if "Internal Page Cache" module enabled.

Created on 6 November 2016, over 8 years ago
Updated 3 July 2023, almost 2 years ago

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Make sure that the "Internal Page Cache" module is enabled.
  2. Add a new view which displays at least two rows.
  3. Remove all the existing sort criteria..
  4. Add a "random" sort criterion.
  5. Under advanced, set "cache" to "none".
  6. Logout and load your view a couple of times as a anonymous user.

You will notice that result order isn't changing as expected. The random sort criteria is working after disabling the "Internal Page Cache" module.
