After applying the latest patch here
- all of the buttons for multi-value fields as well as paragraphs buttons in the form are being placed in the modal's footer
- I also still see the Published and Menu form components, even though they are moved out of the form in the selected form mode.

@scotwith1t I think the modal buttons issue is a core bug. See 🐛 "Add another item" field button is displayed as a modal action Fixed .

I solved why the edit dialog was always using the default form mode and not the configured version, it was the routing definition had it hard-coded to default. Functionality wise this is working again.

Re-rolled the patch for version 8.x-2.11. Seems to be applying / working fine. Running Drupal 10.3.2.
