FAPI Element Type

A year has past since I wrote my note. I tested it again and it works fine, so I set this to RTBC

For the correct sorting please replace
$element['#options'] = \Drupal::service('country_manager')->getList();
with this
$element['#options'] = \Drupal::service('country.field.manager')->getList();
