Port tests to Drupal 8 for IP address detection when client request IP address and proxy IP address are the same

#1327728: ip_address() fails when client request IP and proxy IP are the same → fixed a bug in Drupal 7 which is believed to already be fixed in Drupal 8 via Symfony.

However it is worth looking into whether the tests added in that issue should be forward-ported to Drupal 8. Drupal 8 does have some tests already for reverse proxies/etc but I'm not sure if the above scenario is already tested or not.

Thank you for creating this issue to improve Drupal.

We are working to decide if this task is still relevant to a currently supported version of Drupal. There hasn't been any discussion here for over 8 years which suggests that this has either been implemented or is no longer relevant. Your thoughts on this will allow a decision to be made.

Since we need more information to move forward with this issue, the status is now Postponed (maintainer needs more info). If we don't receive additional information to help with the issue, it may be closed after three months.
