It's likely this issue predates Contrib.social: some issue and comment data are missing.
This issue has been around for 7 years and there have been repeated attempts to get steps to reproduce. None have been supplied. The last report of the problem was also 7 years ago.
Since we do not have a way to reproduce this and there are no reports on a supported version of Drupal, I am closing this issue.
