# Summary

Akamai is being ported to both the CCUv2 and CCUv3 versions of the Akamai caching API. It is integrating heavily with Purge module to inherit all of the nice features that Purge brings.

An alpha release was published on April 1st, 2016.

Development is based at Github for now, with a synchronisation job which pushes any commits to the 8.x-3.x branch to Drupal.org.

When a release is ready, we may move development to Drupal.org entirely.
