I have tested on simplytest.me with search_api-8.x-1.0-alpha12 (database backend) and facets 8.x-1.0-alpha1.
Context:
I have a search_api view with an exposed option, by example a fulltext search filter and a facet block on tag in the sidebar and Views cache disabled.
If:
- I search a word in the fulltext
- submit the exposed filter
- refine the search with the facet
Then:
- Ok. I have both the filtering the exposed filter and the facet.
If:
- I refine the search with the facet
- I search a word in the fulltext
- submit the exposed filter
Then:
- KO. The facet options are resetted and there is no more the facet options in the URL.
The views exposed filter does not handle facets query parameters.
