Overall, this module makes some pretty fair assumptions for its default values. However, in the case of attachments, it uses the straight value from $this for its list of dependencies. I like to use soft-dependencies, not hard ones. This simple fix should fix that.
Call $this->getDependencies(), which combines the values from soft and hard dependencies.
