Show module configuration after installing a new module

Have been enabling modules for years, and it strucks me all the time : after enabling a module, Drupal should present the module configuration and user rights options directly in the UI.

Example :
- install and enable boost
- instead of just saying "The options have been saved successfully" say something like "Boost has been enabled successfully, you can now [configure it] and [define user rights] for this module" (with links of course).

If more than one module enabled, provide the same message for each module.

Bonus point if the module can provide a few "first steps" links into the .info file that are displayed upon activation.

Hope this is the right place to suggest this.

Thank you for sharing your idea for improving Drupal.

We are working to decide if this proposal meets the Criteria for evaluating proposed changes. There hasn't been any discussion here for over 8 years which suggests that this has either been implemented or there is no community support. Your thoughts on this will allow a decision to be made.

Since we need more information to move forward with this issue, the status is now Postponed (maintainer needs more info). If we don't receive additional information to help with the issue, it may be closed after three months.

    Thanks!
