Introduce a dedicated return value whenever an entity revision is saved.

Created on 17 November 2012, over 12 years ago
Updated 16 August 2023, almost 2 years ago

Problem/Motivation

Currently saving an entity revision returns FALSE. That can lead to confusion as the save operation was successful but nevertheless FALSE is returned.
Current code with the @todo to change this: http://drupalcode.org/project/drupal.git/blob/d6075b5f91bfc805cfa4922201...

Proposed resolution

Specify a dedicated value to return whenever a revision was successfully saved. This value could be stored in a constant e.g. SAVED_REVISION

Link the IS is throwing a 404. But since there hasn't been any follow up in so many years wonder if this is still a needed task?

If so can the IS be updated please

    Thanks!

There has been no work on this task for 12 years. It is likely that it is no longer needed or has been implemented. Therefor, closing.

If there is work to do here, then either re-open the issue and add a comment or open a new issue and reference this one.
