Error creating a Rules Component

I'm trying to create a Rules component that must do:

1. Create a Message entity
2. Establish the type of message to create from a variable that the component gets
3. Save the created Message entity

It seems easy but I can't make it work.

1. I create a component "Action set", and define two variables: "User" of type "User" and "Message type" of type "Message type category".
2. I add the first action: Create a new entity
3. On entity type select "Message"
4. On Message type, I change to "switch to data selection" and gets the above defined variable "Message type". The data selector list don't let me select message-type, only message-type:, so perhaps there is a mistake on defining the tokens??

Some help?
