Closed duplicate issue.
This feature request has been closed and re-opened quite a few times! But there has been no discussion for 8 years, that is discounting the question 4 years ago.
Comment #102 reported that the related issue #632896: Rollback translation of module names → the translation of module names was reverted. Some reasons for that decision and suggestions for implementing a solution are In comment #5 → of that issue.
Therefor I am closing this as working as designed.
