When in form contains requred select field, in which we have only one value - output instead hidden form element with value of this one option.
For example, when in requred vocabulary for node type only one term - don`t output select box, containing only one element.

This seems anti-usability because you would be posting data without knowing it. Semantically you wouldn’t know that options were constrained to one.
I am a big 👎 for this idea without further justification or data.
