I am having the same issue. And also have the Security Review module installed.

Incidentally, I have also contacted Printful to see if the issue is on their end and will report back. Their mechanism for creating/downloading images seems to timeout as well so it could be an issue with their servers.

Glad to see recent progress being made on this. End of life for D9 is near, and we depend on this module for one of our projects.
