I have tried after replicate the issue in fresh Drupal installation with module version 1.1.5 but its show correct, Not facing any issue with styling bug. Please send the complete instruction form which version you are upgrading this module.

Yes, you should move your sub-theme outside the
themes/contrib/bootstrap
folder. Keeping it separate prevents any custom code from being lost when updating the parent Bootstrap theme.
I upgraded Drupal from version 10.3 to 10.4.4, but after the upgrade, I was unable to run the update.php script. As mentioned earlier, I tried upgrading Bootstrap to the latest version, but that didnโt resolve the issue. After that, I checked for patches and applied one. Thankfully, this worked, and I am now able to run the update.php script without any issues.
However, I am still concerned about why this fix has not yet been included in the latest versions of Drupal core and the Bootstrap module.
