No the issue is solved.

But when creating a new content, if the preview is open before filling a required field like the title, the preview will not work even in the same page.

A new release 2.1.0 → of this module is available and compatible with Drupal 10

I had the same issue and I created this patch to fix it

The changes applied to same-page-preview.js update the href value of the New window button, every time the uuid is changed, due to changes of fields' values, hence the problem of the New window button for node add pages is solved.
