I have installed 10 and running Drupal on 5 websites.  I have updated 3 from 8.8. And had no issues.

Now, for 3 days I have been trying to update my last one. After 3 days I figured I’d just wipe it, and load a fresh copy and go from there.

I deleted all files and folders. Used composer to install, then when I go to the browser to finish I get the 500 error.

Its taking me to my domain.com/core/install.php

All permissions are correct. I tried php: 8.1, 8.2 and 8.3. Then, I tried 7.4 and 8.0, and I am still getting a 500 error.

Very frustrating and odd. I did this with one of my other websites and everything went smooth. This site has given me issues trying to update, and now it’s being stubborn with a fresh copy.

I figure that file permission or php would have been the issue, but I have tried all my php versions, and chmod all folders to 777. Even gave install.php 777.

Any thought on what would make this throw a 500 error?

I have the same issue. I do not get a manifest file. I get the service worker, and shows in my dev tools, however, I do not get a manifest file. It is showing a 403 error. Where is the manifest file saved at. I will create one myself. Nice tool, if this would work.

I am looking for this same solution. I have an idea. May need to allow this within the setting.php file. So you can connect to amazon to pull the data. Not sure.
I created a Block, and added the javascript code within source on block page. Then, I added the block to the footer. Yet, the image for the banner does not display. Just a box for no image shows. So, it must be because the code is pulling data from another location, and this needs to be configured in settings.php to allow it.
Hope this makes since. I am attempting to setup Banners and more from amazon, and will post if I learn anything. If anyone has any tips, please share them. Thanks.

I had just removed the asterisk’s and never read down further. After many hours scratching my head and searching, I finally read this entire page and realized that just removing the asterisk’s was not the correct way. For the past 3 months 6 of my Drupal sites have been open and now I have hopefully got it corrected.
I love Drupal. I played with Drupal back in its early days, 2005 and 2006, and something was telling me then that it was going to be something I would use!
Great job and I highly recommend Drupal to all my clients who need a cms. The Drupal Team is fantastic, and Drupal is the bomb!
