This one is the latest updated patch which will work for paragraphs and other content types.

I have updated my last patch to show a red color on the input field in case validation failed.

I have resolved this issue and contributed a patch for this.

Is there any update on this? I am also facing this issue. I have added a unique validation on a multi-value entity reference field that is created inside a paragraph. That validation is not working and I am able to refer to the same node multiple times.
