Yes, I do clear cache with each attempt to add or delete features from a content type.
This problem seems to be isolated to on particular "legacy" content type. It contains many fields and is dual language, English and Thai. If I clone it the problem with the module persists. If I create a new content type and add Address field with the map link, the new type works fine. Some poison pill in the legacy type that I have yet to discover.
So far I have turned off language feature and deleted all other fields from the clone. Still no map link. This is a feature that would enhance the main site since we have many visitors to Thailand that visit these sites frequently and so far don't have a method short of attaching image maps of showing directions to each.
