https://www.drupal.org/project/drupal/issues/3459791#comment-15674110 π¬ Cannot update from Drupal Core: 10.2.7 to 10.3.1 Active worked for me. I was getting a circular dependency for Rules. I modified to:
composer require drupal/core-recommended:10.3.7 drupal/core-composer-scaffold:10.3.7 drupal/core-project-message:10.3.7 drupal/rules --update-with-all-dependencies
Thank you for the patch. I've emailed the maintainer of the Choices library to request action and offer to find a new maintainer. Hopefully the related PR, which has already been reviewed and approved, will soon be merged.
Great comments! I especially agree with the last one. It's important that builders, devs, users, AND clients understand that Drupal is open-source. If they want something with all of the bells and whistles and no learning curve, they'll have to shell out for that.
I'm curious if it would be inappropriate to email Rozsa directly using the email address listed in the composer.json for this module.
"name": "Rozsa Arpad",
"email": "rozsaarpad44@gmail.com"
Assuming it isn't a breach of rules of conduct, I think it makes sense to at least ask for a quick review/approval to get a co-maintainer authorized. If paulrad is uncomfortable, I volunteer to send an email requesting review.
