For obvious reasons. I hacked the code and made it work. I'd rather it be in an update.
The current validations are for either a *.xml or a taxonomy-type of path. A "feedburner.com" domain should also be an acceptable validation for "This site". (Other feed sources might also be included, for those who don't want Feedburner.)
It should also be changed to "This site feed" for us "cool" people who use atom or some other coolness yet to be unleashed upon the news industry.
I suppose if you wanted, you could do all three of "RSS" "Atom" and "This site feed" feedburner accepted in all three. Some news sites have all those options.
All in all, this is a great app, though. Thanks for making it. The fact that you had Tumblr earned you a thousand cool points.
