Make content translation links an extra field

In drupal 6 you could find and option called "Hide content translation links" in admin/settings/language/i18n.

This was the description of the option: "Hide the links to translations in content body and teasers. If you choose this option, switching language will only be available from the language switcher block."

In drupal 7 I haven't been able to find it (maybe I didn't find it).

Since there is no i18n module for drupal 7 and many multilingual features are now in core (I think), I would find really useful this option.

Not sure if it's a bug. In case it isn't, I'm sorry.

Thank you very much.

Not too familiar with D6 but in D10 the translation is a tab and that can be controlled in the Content translation settings. So think this can be closed out.
