Right now, when a group member invites someone else to a group, the email that is sent to the person being invited appears to come from the person who invited them. This reveals the email address of the person sending the invite to the person they are inviting. Group invitation emails should come from the site admin email address (the address set for the Drupal site on this admin page: /admin/settings/site-information) because members may not wish to reveal their personal email addresses to the people they are inviting to groups. In addition, having the mail appear to come from the person sending the invite could be a violation of many Web sites' privacy policies, which may state that a user's email address will not be shared with anyone else. (Note that it should still say, in the body of the email, who is inviting them to the group, but it should not reveal their email address.)
Is there a module that already does this?
If not, can this option be added to Organic Groups?
Thanks! :)
