I am running D6 with Advanced Forum and a heap of other modules to make it work nicely like a forum.
I installed Whizzywig to give more formatting control on comments etc and am running into some issues.
Firstly clicking on a Smiley (6.x-1.0) does not add the smiley text to the post. Manually typing the smiley code works fine. If I disable Whizzywig then smileys insert fine in the plain text editor.
Also a lot of the functionality from Whizzywig is not working (font colors, font alignment, font size, font style, underline, hi-lite, tables, image) - they display fine in the Whizzywig typing box, but when the post is saved they all just disappear. The only things that work are Bold, Italic, Numbered list, Bulleted List, and insert link. Is this the Advanced Forum module's CSS overwriting? I have tried many different themes (currently using Acquia Prosper which seems to work well with the forums layouts) and none of the ones I have tried change these issues.
At the moment I am using Whizzywig with a custom toolbar just showing the couple of things that do work, but to be honest for what it is giving me and what it is taking away I'm not sure if it's much use for me... maybe someone can help?
