Is it possible to hook into the Token module to provide two tokens as alternatives to the [node:site-url] ones?
For instance, using the Rules module, I have setup an e-mail which gets automatically sent after a user creates a certain type of node. In that email, I include a link to a non-secure page (like http://example.com/contact), using the token [node:site-url] (which gets replaced with the main URL of the website.) However, since this rule gets executed while the user is on the node edit form, and I have Secure Pages activates on that page, the URL in my email is written as "https://example.com/contact". I would like the email to include the non-secure form of the URL.
I propose exposing two additional tokens: [node:site-url-http] and [node:site-url-https].
