Update backbone.js and move off of core

Problem/Motivation

📌 Replace Tour BackboneJS usage with VanillaJS equivalent Needs work there was an attempt to move off backbone.js, even though it would be nice not sure we fully need to right now until it's no longer supported. It would be nice to update to a newer version
