Required field may prevent the modal to close

Problem/Motivation

When using iframe modal to add blocks into the layout builder, required field error messages keep showing after filling the fields and prevents the iframe to close.
Last working version 1.3.4

Steps to reproduce

Create a new block in the layout buider
Do not fill required field and save
Fill required field and save
Error is still there, and the iframe is opened. Block in added in the background

Notice the change in the validation style, before it was a tooltip on the field, now it is a Drupal error message.
