Change namespace for Field Widget Actions module

Problem/Motivation

AI module ( https://www.drupal.org/project/ai → ) had a submodule "Field Widget Actions". Now this submodule is going out from it in version 2.0.x and there is already a standalone project https://www.drupal.org/project/field_widget_actions → that has conflict section in its composer.json file to not be installed with AI 1.x as it is part of it.

It seems that for the submodule the namespace drupal/field_widget_actions was already created, therefore standalone project has namespace drupal/field_widget_actions-field_widget_actions. This is of course not the desired one.

Is it possible to have a namespace drupal/field_widget_actions for project https://www.drupal.org/project/field_widget_actions → instead of submodule in AI 1.x?
