[Meta] Release Plan for AP Style Date Major Release 3.0.0

Problem/Motivation

The intent of this issue is to coordinate efforts in the creation of the 3.0.0 release of the AP Style Date module.

This release introduces breaking changes by removing deprecated configuration and API code. The core_version_requirement remains unchanged: ^10.3 || ^11. The module continues to support Drupal 10.3 and later, as well as Drupal 11.

  • Removed deprecated configuration form elements
  • Removed deprecated service methods
  • core_version_requirement remains ^10.3 || ^11

Draft Release Notes

  • Breaking change: Removed deprecated configuration and API methods
  • Core support: Minimum supported versions remain Drupal 10.3 and Drupal 11
  • Upgrade path: Update hooks included to migrate configuration from 2.x to 3.0.0
