Grid selection not currently working

Problem/Motivation

I would like to use Grids in the selection. Ie a view with Grid display. When selecting entities there is no ability to select any items in the grid.

Steps to reproduce

I have followed this multiple times and my Entity Browser pops up, it shows a Grid, but the there seems to be so selectability of the items in the grid. I have tried using the default browsers in the entity_test module and changing their dispplay to Grid. If i change my view to a table or html list, the checkbox shows up and i can select items.

I have tried changing the admin theme from Gin to Claro too.

Proposed resolution

It would be good if the module had a working exmaple of a grid. Or just if an example could confirm that this is currnetly not working.
