Hi there, the current version of the module supports ALTCHA v1 for now. The documentation on its effectiveness paints a pretty good picture and can be viewed here: https://altcha.org/docs/effectiveness/#comparison.
There is currently an ALTCHA v2 available, work on support for this is being done here: https://www.drupal.org/project/altcha/issues/3538020 📌 Update for ALTCHA 2 Active .
A major change in this version is support for ALTCHA's sentinel product, which is a self-hosted (but licenced) container that will handle captcha verification.All the currently known issues are logged in the issue queue, with these being the most important ones:
