Configuration form is not refreshing with ajax

Steps to reproduce

1. Navigate to the configuration form.
2. Select and view and display.
3. Set some options and save.
4. Without refreshing, select another view and display. The selections from the previous view are still showing.

Proposed resolution

This issue can be avoided by refreshing the page, seems like form is not reloading correctly on ajax response.
