Most likely you you still have group content (relationship) created, that is why it can't be removed. Cleaning up it for your group will solve the issue
I installed version 2.2.2 of Group Membership Request just to test it out. I decided not to use it, instead using a form with a connection to our Salesforce org which creates a case for each membership request. But unfortunately, I am unable to uninstall this module. The plugin was installed/enabled in my group type and I tested it a bit, but it was never really used across the group sites.
I removed the test membership requests. But I am unable to remove the plugin from /admin/group/types/manage/my_group_type/content.
"You can not uninstall this content plugin until you have removed all of the content that uses it."
I have combed through all of the groups to make sure that none of them have any group membership requests associated with them. Otherwise, I can't find any content that would be blocking the uninstall. Do I need to remove the group type itself?
I'm moving my groups to another website and I'll want to uninstall Organic Groups altogether, which I won't be able to do until I remove Group Membership Request first.
