"Open in new window" not toggling off

Problem/Motivation

"Open in new window" can't be turned off once turned on.

Steps to reproduce

Our platform is using linkit also, so this could be caused by a combination of modules - not sure. Here's the steps:

• Create Text component
• Add media inside the editor
• select media, create link
• add link url, click advanced, toggle "Open in new window" to "on"
• save, preview, and the target attribute gets added
• edit page, open up the link settings for the media and the “Open in new window toggle” switch will appear to be “off”.
• Toggle the switch from off to on to off and it will still not turn off the feature (does not remove the target).

Note: the feature is able to be toggled on/off with text links, but with a media link, it can't be turned off.
