Sorry, I'm not able to reproduce this. Please try in a Vanilla D11 environment. Might this issue be specific to your project or other modules?
After making changes to field groups. Unable to save changes.
POST gets sent 'form-display?ajax_form=1&_wrapper_format=drupal_ajax'
Check response and it says "The 'administer node form display' permission is required."
- On D11.2.2
- Install Field Groups
- Make changes to form display and try to save.
