@yas, I am closing this issue. This issue went away after updating from Drupal
11.1.8to11.2.0
In Drupal 10.3+, BigPipe module is enabled by default. Fix message theming when BigPipe module is enabled.
The following links have documentation about the problem of messages loosing theme styles. We never encountered this issue because our Cloud Orchestrator Profile never enables BigPipe module. With recipes we apply them after a standard Drupal install is performed. That is why BigPipe is enabled by default.
