Direct Embed: PDF not loading on small devices

Problem/Motivation

For the Direct Embed renderer option, the embed is not showing anything on mobiles or small devices

Steps to reproduce

1. Install the module
2. Create a file field
3. Go to Manage display, and for the File field, choose the format as "PDF Reader"
4. Click on setting,s choose "Direct Embed", and submit the form
5. Upload the PDF to the file field in your content
6. Open the content on desktop, and the embed will load the PDF
7. Try on a mobile device, it does not show anything
8. Even able to replicate by choosing "Toggle device toolbar" in the Chrome browser
