Misleading Project Name - Not a Media Source

Problem/Motivation

This module is misnamed, leading to confusion as to the functionality which it provides.

A "media source" is a very specific core functionality, where the core media module's provides plugin type to integrate with media entities.

This module provides a field type. If visitors are looking for proper media integration and related functionality, attempting to use this module would be fruitless.

Steps to reproduce

Use your favorite search provider and query "jwplayer drupal media source".

Observe that this project is the top or a very high result.

Proposed resolution

Add copy to the project page that (1) clearly identifies this a not providing a media source, and (2) refers visitors to other projects which provide JW Player video as a media source.

Remaining tasks

Identify projects that do provide JW Player videos as media source.

One candidate is https://www.drupal.org/project/jw_video_media_source → . This does not seem to be widely-used and is not marked as D11 compatible.

    Hi @kerasai,

    The module provide a way to add JW Player Videos as media external resources to Drupal that is not something out of box, the module add a new media page with the list of video taken from JW Player platform and allow users to use it in different form in the CMS eg. with sitestudio components or block or CKEditor.

    Also in the project page there is the main differences with similar modules. So main difference is that this module is fully integrated with latest version of JW player, sitestudio, blocks, have dedicated jw player videos page on Drupal content. At time i built the project no other module was working with JW player existing APIs.
