I support a Backdrop site for someone that wanted to begin using Mailgun, and since the process to get a Drupal 7 module running on Backdrop is generally fairly straightforward, I decided to port this module. I wanted to first say thank you for all your work on this module over the years (the commit history and credits are intact to make sure you get that credit). I also wanted to offer (without any pressure) that any maintainers here who might be interested in co-maintaining for Backdrop would be more than welcome. But I understand completely if not!
