When using date_recur date fields, the Date field option for iCal row style options (see screenshot) doesn't seem to recognize the date_recur field.
Adding 'date_recur' to the $dateType list in public/modules/contrib/date_ical/src/Plugin/views/row/DateICal.php fixes this but there might be some more work needed. I will add a patch for this.
