Uncaught TypeError in jQuery Environment Indicator

Problem/Motivation

While attempting to utilize the environment indicator module, the JavaScript encounters a critical error. When executing jQuery code intended to attach an event listener to the #environment-indicator element, the console logs "Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'addEventListener')". This error prevents proper execution of intended behaviors tied to this element.
